2027 RFP is Open!
Do you have a great idea for a play, musical, comedy, or burlesque production?
Theatre Off Jackson is now accepting proposals for our 2027 Co-Producer Program for theater and variety productions!
We have several production slots available for “full run” shows (3 weeks of performances + a week of technical rehearsals) as well as single-weekend shows (including a week of rehearsals) and some off-night slots.
The RFP is open until April 4th.
Selected applications will be notified in April.

Proposals will be read and considered by our curatorial committee. The committee represents both the TOJ Board and Staff, as well as members of the Seattle arts community. Each proposal will be reviewed by the committee for alignment with TOJ’s mission and values.
Available 2026 Dates
Have a show bursting out of you that can’t wait until 2027? We have several summer slots available through our general rental program for both the Downstairs Theater and Upstairs Main Hall, which could include a full buyout of both floors. Perfect for conferences, retreats, festivals, and summer camps. Contact us at info@theatreoffjackson.org if you are interested in these summer slots or one-off dates throughout the year.

Assistance to and from shows at Theatre Off Jackson
CIDBIA Safety Ambassadors are available to escort show attendees to and from their vehicles and public transportation as part of Chinatown-International District’s Business Improvement Plan. Ambassadors are trained in de-escalation and are here to assist the community and neighborhood visitors.
Ambassadors wear bright yellow vests and are available daily between 2pm-10pm by calling (206) 202-7314 or by scanning the barcode below:

Co-Producing
Theatre Off Jackson exists to provide an affordable performance venue for small arts groups and independent artists. Our co-producers bring strong creative ideas and a capable production team and TOJ supplies a well-equipped, “artist-ready” space for performances and rehearsals.
We call this our Co-Production model.
Theatre Off Jackson is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, federal tax ID #20-2202673. Donations are tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent provided by law.
