This two-night-only puppet cabaret includes both local and visiting puppet artists who will unleash upon the stage their monstrous and hand-crafted creations. From shadow puppets exploring the dark, inner world of conservative housewives (and the demons controlling them), to a theatrical dramedy about a girl’s relationship with her avoidant father (expressed through her pet lizard marionette and a giant stork head), this Volume brings humor, camp, and all things creepy. Featuring shadow puppetry, marionettes, mask work, object manipulation, sock puppets, and MORE, there’s something for everyone in this slam! In true B-movie fashion, we’ve assembled a rogues’ gallery of acts to appear in Volume 29, along with our very own cryptkeeper-esque host: Tootsie Spangles!
